Hey guys, I'm looking to make a digital "hub" for my PowerMac G4, by using my Airport extreme so I could wirelessly play my videos/music/photos to the TV with no hassle.

Is eyehome my only option? I don't feel like waiting for Apple's media center, I'd like to know what is out now.

My problem with Eyehome is that it forces you to use the Movies Folder, which is ridiculous in my opinion, I have a 300 gig drive just dedicated to videos, I can't drag all that to the system drive, it's stupid.

Thanks

Would it allow you to place an alias to your external drive (or the individual vids) inside the Movies folder?

Wow, you will laugh, straight from Elgato:

A note on alias support

EyeHome 1.8 no longer supports using aliases to play back content on other drives. If you need to play back content from other hard drives, create a symbolic link in your Movies, Music, or Pictures folder that points to the destination folder on the other drive. For more detailed instructions on how to do this, check out the following FAQ entry at
