I'm eyeing up the Galaxy Note II at the minute and have a few questions. If you own the phone or are experienced with Android and the Note II's capabilities, feel free to comment.

  1. I read that the Note II will be Dual-SIM soon in China. Will this be available in the UK? As I have a work and personal SIM, this would be fantastic.
  2. It seems Samsung don't sell the phone directly and I'll be buying it without contract. Can anyone recommend a shop to buy it from? Amazon have it for £501.
  3. I primarily use OS X in my personal time. Will I encounter any compatibility issues with Android?
  4. Given the Note II is essentially an Android phone with touchy-feely UI objects via the Stylus, I imagine this part of the OS is Samsung technology? Have you found any problems with this part? Can I assume any updates to Android will result in a delayed roll-out for a Note II version?
  5. After using the Note II in Vodafone, I noticed a significant dip in responsiveness when compared to my iPhone 4S. Likewise in a GS3 vs Note II review on YouTube, it suffered at the hands of GS3. Is this down to the previous point (e.g. Samsung code) or due to the HUGE screen? I can't work out where the bottle-neck is - given the four cores!

That's all I can think of at the moment. More will come soon... :D
