Has anyone else experienced eyestrain using ultrawide monitors?

I've been using my LG 29" ultrawide monitor for a couple of years now and it's only just been recently that I've been noticing headaches and eyestrain when using it working from home.

Would be interested to see if anyone else has experienced similar issues.

Pondering about moving over to a BenQ 27" 16:9 Eye Care monitor instead... 🤔

If you are getting eye strain, consider getting 100Hz+ monitor, 144Hz is common. Thanks me later.

Blue light has no effect on strain or sleep, just bs marketing.

What resolution? Low res screens give me eyestrain.

The BenQ 27" 16:9 Eye Care monitor is a low res monitor - I would not go near it for use on a Mac.

For a Mac, a 4K screen is the minimum for decent viewing and less eyestrain. At 27", 5K is ideal.

Why do you think it's due to being ultrawide that you are getting a headache? Is the monitor flicker free?

I faced this when switched from my previous 23 to 27 2K 167 (144) Ghz display, but it was just couple of days.
Maybe it's time to have a rest/chill/nap a bit?

Or maybe you have some nitpicking or dingus thoughts on a background
