Hello all,
I've currently using an EyeTV 310 which I'm sure you are aware is the satellite version. I'm considering switching to the analogue EyeTV 200 and connecting this to a Sky Digibox via the svideo connection.

The question is can the EyeTV 200 support the widescreen of Sky and if so what is the picture quality like?

I need to get a way to record the programs of Sky One so that I can watch them in the safety of my office at home without my partner complaining about the rubbish I watch  .

Thanks in advance.

Glyn.

Isn't the actual Eye TV software that stretches the image into widescreen. It used to be F8 but I think they've moved it to Tab on EyeTV2...

It basically will record the programme as Anamorphic Squashed and you press the Tab or F8 key and stretch back into proportion...

This applies to Eye TV Wonders USB2, but not 100% sure about EyeTV 200..

yeah, in eyetv 2 there is a function to switch between 4:3 and widescreen aspects...it should be able to handle widescreen natively.
