I am wondering how much hard disk space an hour of video actually takes up when recorded with the EyeTV 200. Elgato says 2GB/hour but I want to know if that's true, and if not what is roughly the actual amount.

Thanks. :)

Depends at which compression you use. Highest DVD quality can take up to 2.7 gigs and hour, while MPEG-4 Best takes only about 1.5gig and hour. I record at MPEG-4 Best to save space but best quality. See pictures that are attached.
