EyeTV 250 Plus Questions

My biggest and foremost question:
Does the EyeTV handle 1080p for my 24" iMac?
It is very vague on the website, so I don't know.

also:
Does it work with satellite television? or are the hookups and stuff weird?
Can I hook up an Xbox to the component cables and use my computer as a monitor? If so, is there a way to make that HD? Any good reviews for it? Any bad?

Well my main concern is HD. I want to know if I can use my HD satellite and use my iMac as a TV. They talk about over the air signals, but that's not what I'm interested in. If you have suggestions for a different product, that would be greatly appreciated.

Here is a link to the Miglia TV MiniHD. From what I read, you'll need to use the cable decoder box by your cable provider in order to watch HDTV on your computer, as the Miglia won't decode their scrambling.

So here is a free alternative to watching HDTV on any Mac that seems to work. Good luck.
