hi everyone

i am thinking about getting either the EyeTV 250 or the EyeTV Hybrid. I know that they both have IR recievers that are compatable with the apple remote. They both say that you can use the apple remote to controll the TV program.

I am wondering if I will be able to run apples front row with the apple remote and the EyeTV.

Thanks everyone for your responses.

Julian

EyeTV 250 does have an IR receiver but I believe that is just for its own remote control. You may however use the apple remote with the EyeTV software to controll the ETV 250 receiver. Just press and HOLD the menu button on the Apple remote while in EyeTV 2 and it will go to full screen where you can browse live TV, recordings, and pretty much anything else. To use that same Apple remote to control Front Row just press AND RELEASE the menu button on the remote. Hope this helps!
