i just bought an eyetv 250 plus and I'm a little bit concerned. According to elgato, it's supposed to have an internal encoder/decoder so that the computer cpu has to work at a minimum. I got a macbook with 2 gb and a 2.4 GHz core 2 duo. It's one of the black macbooks they used to sell like 2 years ago... Anyway, the eyetv is using up to 30% CPU when viewing an analog channel and about 60% on a hd channel. Isn't this way too high?

at work, my windows machine has a tunner card that uses a wooping 3-5% of cpu time while watching analog channels (cable). It's a huge difference between 30% and 5%. am I doing something wrong? is there something wrong with my eyetv?

thanks!
