I've recently purchase the eyeTV Hybrid and wanted to use it to copy old VHS tapes to DVDs. I'm running a 2.8 iMac so processing power should be sufficient such that i don't need the encoding ability of the more expensive eyeTV 250.
Anyway, I've tried to connect the VCR using: 1. coax cable form VCR out to eyeTV, 2. VCR Scart to S-Video converter into the eyeTV using the supplied converter, and 3. VCR Scart to composite as with 2. above.
I've then switched input on the menu's to either Tuner for (1), S-Video for (2) and Composite for (3), and then tried to tune in the stations using both (Antenna) and (Cable) options.
Unfortunately i've not been able to tune in to the VCR with any of the above options.
Any thoughts gratefully received. Cheers
