So I purchased the EyeTV Hybrid (2008) to watch TV on my aluminum 20" iMac.
I've been scouring the web but can't really determine the best way to use the Hybrid.

I do have a cable from the wall (Comcast). Should I connect the cable directly to the Hybrid? OR, should I purchase an antenna (it would have to be an indoor antenna) and connect that to the Hybrid?

What are the pros/cons of each method? I live in the Loop in Chicago and it looks like I'm pretty close to a bunch of stations according to antennaweb.com

Thanks so much
Rick

If you buy a HD antenna you can watch all the local stations in HD using a coax cable going from the antenna to the EyeTV.

If you connect a coax from the wall outlet it will be in SD. And I'm not sure about Comcast where you are but where I live I need a converter box to watch anything other than local channels.

Connect the Cable to the Hybrid and what are you waiting for? then make sure you get the Titan TV download...Elgato will take care of it all but will ask you some questions. I Luv mine.:)
