Hello all likeminded , i was thinking , surely there must be a way of opening a path to recieve pay channels on the eyetv systems? Can anyone enlighten me??

It would help if you gave us some sort of clue as to which EyeTV system you are using! For example the 410 (from European DVB-T signals) has a common interface socket. With the appropriate card reader installed you could easily get a hacked card from your local "distributer" down the pub...
