Has anyone noticed that the provided editing software takes Ages..... Whenever I have a clip and I want to edit out ... say 30 seconds... it will take 5 minutes to remove the clip. Does anyone else have that same issue? I have a pretty fast Mac (check Sig) and didn't expect it to take this long.
Also, converting to iPod format is is taking Crazy Long. Longer than VisualHub takes to do a whole movie!
Copying the file to do the converting in handbreak takes at least 20 minutes. Moving a 2gb file from the EyeTV archives to Handbreak should not take that long.
These problems only happen when I'm working with the EyeTV software... Do they purposely make it slow so people will buy the turbo? Any way to get done with this stuff faster?
