Eyetv500 users please read!!

I am looking to get an external hard drive for my new eyetv500. I have narrowed it down to this Lacie 500 GB

I was wondering if it is possible to to connect the Eyetv with the External and then to the computer. The harddrive has 2 FW ports. I have an Alu imac 24" and it only has 1 firewire400 port. Will this work? thanks in advance.

Yes, that will work as the external hard drive has its own power supply and you can daisy chain Eyetv to it.
