I was reading in the newest Macworld Magazine an article about selling your used Imac. One of the sites it mentioned was ebay.eztradein.com.
I have been serious thinking of getting a second laptop and going completely wireless and ditching my G5 Imac. So I did the quote and came up with a surprising $886 offer for my configuration. I felt that was very fair, but as you read the fine print it states Eztradein will ultimately decide the final price which I fully understand. BUT as you fill out the quote one of the first things I noticed was a possibly outdated pricing guide:
Pricing last modified: 10/09/2006
My G5 2.0 ghz is still worth $886 I wonder? I hate to go through the effort of wiping my machine clean, shipping it, etc. etc. only for them to come back and say oh yeah the "current" pricing has dropped.
Has anyone used this service before or recently?
