I have parallels and sometimes boot into windows. I was wondering if there was any way to f-lock on a MacBook keyboard. If I need to change a setting through the control panel or take this to another panel then let me know. Thanks for the help!

i assume you mean keeping the F keys from using the special apple functions.

go into the keyboard settings pref pane, under the "keyboard" tab, and check "Use all F1, F2, etc. keys as standard function keys"

Yes I am talking about keeping the F keys from dimming the screen, adjusting volume, etc.

The way you suggested works in OSX. However I am trying to achieve the same goals in Windows XP. I would take this to a Windows board but since I am using a MacBook Pro I figured this board might be more appropriate.
