Hello everyone,
I hope someone will have some advice for me here. I just got myself a new Power Mac G5 Dual Core and wanted to install one of my favorite games for the system - Fable.
However, when I try to start it, the game says it's recognized a low-end device and wants to start with low settings. I manually changed the settings to high as this machine should be more than capable but the game runs in still images every few seconds. Even medium settings without shadows and lower resolution (1600x900) still gives me massive lag. What gives?
Does anyone have any idea what might be going on here? I have attached photos of my G5's specs. 2 GHz Dual Core, 7GB RAM, GeForce 6600. Even my iMac G5 runs it better on medium settings, having currently only 512 MB RAM.
I'd be glad for any advice. Thanks in advance!
