Face ID issues

Hey

So Face ID is not working as seemless as I'd like. I typically have to raise the phone closer to my face to get to unlock. Things Ive tried so far:

• reset face id
• turned off attention awareness

Im still looking silly wide eyed staring and raising this phone to my face lol. Any help?

What about trying to re-calibrate FaceID by setting it up again with your face really close to the screen during setup process? Maybe that'll give it a bit more, better data to work with. Or if that doesn't change things, maybe try setting it up again with your face quite far from the sensor.
