Recently got the iphone 15 pro, but the notifications stopped working when someone was at the door from my CCTV(HIK)
Checked the settings exact same as my wife’s iPhone, but still not getting the notification.
Could login with face ID but the password is not saved in my passwords thought it was one of my generic ones🫣, not wanting just now to reset the password in case it knackers the wife’s phone(not showing on hers either)
Any idea where I can find the Face ID password it is using, hope that makes sense, as it must be saved somewhere.

Password used with FaceID is your normal passcode (the one that you use to login to your iPhone, either for first login after a restart, or when your FaceID does not work for whatever reason. It's your passcode.
Why would you think that would be something different?

Not explaining myself correctly.
Face ID is working ok, can log into the app/website using Face ID on my iPhone.
But say I want to log onto the same website on my works computer, I know my user name but have forgot the password, open the my iPhone Face ID kicks in, and it’s open and accessible.
It does not show up in my passwords saved on my iPhone, but can remember entering it when we first installed the CCTV.

Face ID and Touch ID authenticate with an app that you’ve given permission to use. It’s separate from a passcode saved in keychain.
If a passcode isn’t in your keychain and you didn’t save it somewhere else, you’ll have to reset the app/device and set a new passcode.

I don’t think you can view such information. However, on your iDevice, maybe try disabling Face ID (login) access for the Hik-Connect app then re-enable and re-login — I hope that makes sense.

I had found that link mate and tried it, now not giving me access without the password, and the Face ID option has disappeared 🫣😀
Looks like I will have to go down the reset password route, back to watching about 20 YouTube videos.
