Face Recognition Tweak.

Hey all,

Ive done a search on macrumours and cannot find anything on this tweak.

Plenty of utube videos but not a lot on if this tweak works and if it undermines the iPhones security passcode in anyway. I currently use the 4 digit simple passcode.

Yes, it works. I have it and use it, but only engage when I leave home. The trick is to take multiple shots of yourself in various lighting conditions, when you "train" the app. Facial recognition is then pretty damn quick!

The only issue that really concerns is that if someone finds my iPhone and the tweak incorrectly opens up to their face !

Nope. Doesnt happen. I tried to fool it.

App appears to work but it doesn't. Comes on and the green area is top right...no where near my face.

After following advice to take a couple of biometrics in different lighting conditions mine works as fast as typing in the 4 digit code.

Interesting.!! I got a good face scan, but when I went to use it, it was scanning no where near where my face was and failed.
