Is there any way that Face Time leaves an indicator that someone has been trying to contact me? Any apps out there that provide this enhancement to the program?

And a badge on the FT icon with the number of missed calls. Then open FT and it will list the names of the callers whose calls you missed.
It does. If the incoming call settings are correct, the icon in your dock displays a small red circle with a number in it....Doesn't always work though..as we know.
