Face Time : Why the different Icons?

Look at these 2 images of a face time button.

They are from the contacts app on 2 different iPhones for the SAME user.

Why does one iPhone show a video symbol and the other does not on the Fact Time button?

Both quite happily make video Face Time calls to and from this contact.

I think I have found the answer…

In one phone the number was added as a favourite together with another number. The video camera icon then disappears.
