Facebook 2.0 Time Zone

Anyone else having problems with the Facebook App not knowing what day it is?

My iPod definitely knows it's the 30th September today, but the Facebook app seems pretty insistant on informing me of status updates for tomorrow (October 1).

Unfortunately, none of my friends are talking about the results of horse races, otherwise, I'd be betting on them!!

Seriously though, I'm logged into Facebook on my laptop and I have a status update of 27 mins ago - the iPod app is giving me the same status but listing it as 8 hours ago on October 1. If I use Safari on the iPod to go to Facebook, then the times/dates are fine. It's just the Facebook 2.0 App which is completely wrong.

I'd guess that the app is working on a different time zone, but I have no idea how to correct this.
 
Woah -- I'm getting a completely different time mess-up going on with my 2.0.

ALL the news feeds are saying "3 hours ago" -- no matter when they actually happened. When I log into Facebook online, there are status changes (or other news feeds) that say anywhere from 10 minutes ago, 25 minutes ago, etc. to 5 hours ago, 15 hours ago, whatever. But when I log back into the iPhone app, ALL OF THEM say "3 hours ago."

What the frak? :confused:
 
I'm having a problem opposite than that.
Say I look at a status update, it will say, for example, '4 Minutes ago,' but if I go to chat or something and then back to status updates and look at the same thing it often says something like '8 seconds ago.'
So it's basically going back in time.'
Sometimes it's only a few minutes or seconds, but sometimes it may even be several to over ten hours.
 
My facebook on the iPhone and iPod Touch is partly in French,
just the same way as it was in 1.x.

Ok, I live in Belgium and we are bilangual French/Dutch, but I chose for English. :confused:
 
This has been driving me insane since I updated facebook yesterday! How can this get fixed?
 
Anyone got any further with this? Or seen anything from the developers?

It is literally all over the place time and date wise!
 
I'm really starting to hate facebook now because of this, used to be one of my most used apps now I barely use it.

I hope they get this sorted soon. :(
 
yeah, mine's all over the place. The most recent entry shows it was posted 9 hours ago, the previous entry was 42 minutes ago. It's just wrong :confused:
 
Glad theres already a thread about this as i was going to start one,

mine states that a day ahead of what i actually am
 
It's been widely reported both here and on the iPhone Facebook page. No word yet on a fix, although the developer is aware there's bugs in 2.0.
 
Anyone still having issues with this in 3.0?


All my inbox messages in the app are two hours off.

Thought they were going to fix this..

Let me know if I'm not alone. Or if there is a fix I havent heard about.

(I've got the most recent update to the app, just checked)
