I know that safari was upgraded to the next version, wondering if anyone is experanceing weird facebook issues. Meaning when you get a notification on the bottom bar, its red, you click on it, it wont open, the red notification goes away, then you can click to open it.

hopefully that makes some sense. But it is getting annoying.

thanks guys.

hopefully someone big at apple is an avid facebook user, lets push out an update!

unless its in the facebook code.

no its just facebook, iv had windows ppl say the same thing today, keeps signing off an stuff

I don't think this has anything to do with 10.5.8. Twitter and facebook were hit with denial of service attacks this morning and are still working through the issues. Since Facebook's UI uses background AJAX calls to populate its menus, etc, the fact that you don't see anything for your notifications is probably related to this DoS attack causing some of these calls to timeout.

next time i get a notification i will try it on firefox and see how that goes
