So I updated my Facebook app and it wouldn't let me log in.. So I searched the interwebz and found this.

"Here’s the fix:

Edit the file /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries/biteSMSsb.plist to only contain:
...
Filter = { Bundles = (com.apple.springboard); };

or download from here http://cydia.bitesms.com/biteSMSsb.plist

REBOOT not respring."

So I did that and Facebook started working again, but now when I try to reply to a text message without going into BiteSMS, it shuts down my phone and goes into safe mode. :| Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

THANK YOU!!!!

This fixed my facebook, I couldn't find anything anywhere about it.. I'll wait till I get a txt to see if it crashes my phone or not, please keep us updated if you find a fix

I just downgraded my Facebook app to the old version until BiteSMS does an update in Cydia. I don't feel like screwing with .plist files and Bite is more important to me than whatever the new FB app brought to the table.

How do you downgrade the Facebook app?

A couple of ways. If you upgraded the app over the air (not through iTunes on your computer), you can delete it, then just resync with iTunes. The old version is still on your computer so that's what will get synced back to the iPhone. You have to go in and recheck it though.

The other possibility is to look in your Trash or Recycle Bin and perhaps the old .ipa file for Facebook is in there. Delete the new version, drag the old one out of the trash and back to where your Apps reside on the computer then resync.
