Facebook and Contacts

So before ios 6 it was very easy to sync your facebook friends to your contacts on your phone to have their facebook picture show up in your existing contacts. I cannot figure out how to get ios 6 to update my contact pictures. I go into the facebook under settings and click update contacts loads the blue bar but nothing changes, and I know people have changed their pictures because Ive look but my contacts wont change

Okay new question, how do I get my facebook friends pictures to show as their contact picture, WITHOUT turning on contacts sync under facebook and having 1000 contacts sync to my phone

i use the app called sync.me

i like it.

1. Only if you do not have an existing saved photo of a contact in your address book will ios 6 use their current facebook photo (and update it). Delete the photo assigned to a contact to see it update to a facebook photo,

2. You cant. You either sync everything and everyone or nothing. Unless you use a third party app.
