Facebook app and badge icon

Yesterday the badge icon for my Facebook app on my iPhone 4S (iOS 6) stopped working. It's still turned on in the settings and I've tried doing a soft reset on my phone. When I launch the Facebook app then it updates it only. Anyone else having this problem?

Try deleting the app and reinstalling it.

Also double check your settings and notifications settings for the app. Try turning them off/on or on/off/on again and see if that helps.

i even tried it installing the facebook app on my wifes iphone 4s and am having the same problem. Is no one else having this problem?

On my 4S it stopped working on iOS 5.1.1. Then I upgraded to iOS 6.0 and it still did not work. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and deleting the iOS integrated access to Facebook and nothing worked. I noticed that Facebook wasn't even listed under notifications settings, so I did a hard reset and and it then Facebook showed up in the notification settings and it has been working since then.
