Curious problem re: Facebook app search feature I'd love help with...

On my iPhone 6 Plus, in the Facebook app (v31.0), when I search for something, the results includes stuff from posts. For example, if I search for "bats", I'll see videos about a bat someone posted or a photo of a bat someone took or a comment someone made about a bat. So the search function is doing exactly what I expect!

Now, on my coworker's iPhone 6, same version of the Facebook app, when he searches for something, it doesn't include stuff from posts. So, if he searches "bats", he only sees people and pages but nothing from posts, videos or photos as I do. WTH!

Anyone have any theories? I'm attaching screenshots.

Facebook often tests different things only making them available to different sets of users. This is likely what's happening. You might be part of some group where they are testing search to extend to actual posted content, while your friend isn't part of that group of users.
