Hey everyone,

Kind of new to the iPad thing. Having a total blast with it.

For the Facebook app, is there a way to get rid of the chat on the side for the newsfeed? Make the newsfeed bigger?

Yup, this is the only way. When you rotate to landscape, it shows the chat bar. When you flip to portrait, it disappears.

Try an app called "Venus" (there is a free version). Works pretty nicely for me, I have not even downloaded Facebook.
