facebook app for iPhone

Hi All,
I am a newbie to facebook and just installed the iphone app. I had a quick question about using the app to send messages and writing on friends' "wall". Since I don't have any SMS plan with ATT, will I get charged any additional amount by ATT for posting these messages or is this different from sending SMSs?
I tried searching for this info but couldn't find it, so I'd appreciate if someone can clear this for me.

No, it uses the data plan or the wifi connection to post messages.
