Is ther a good Facebook app for the "dock" like tweetie for twitter?

No. Facebook is an online "application."

You could make a Facebook "application" with Fluid, but it wouldn't have anything different than the website obviously. You could also direct it to the iPhone version of Facebook which some people prefer.

I think Nambu supports facebook but I don't know if it goes any further than status updates support.
