facebook crahsing

i have a 3GS with firmware 3.1.3 and jailbroken with spirit.
i have been using facebook on it without any problems. when i tried to sync the friendlist on facebook with my contacts for the first time it crashed. it has been happening ever since even if i reply to any wall posts.
i have turned off the syncing option with my contacts. but the problem still persists..
does anyone have any idea what might be causing this problem??

The author of the program would. Have you tried writing him/her/it/them?

That program can be buggy. Uninstall it and then reinstall it.

yes i hav tried dis...the prob started after i changed my password for facebook..and has been recurring ever since..

There's a lot of problems with it ATM (for me, it wont refresh).

Just going to have to hold off until an update.

what i do not seem to understand is that this app was working fine all this while and the problem started out of the blue without any update.
fair enf i might need to wait for an update for this to get fixed.

Heres the unofficial fix, I had this problem too, (not jailbroken iphone 4)

As soon as you open the app, hit the live feed button in the upper right corner and switch the rotator to anything else and click done, after doing this, it hasnt crashed for me since. You have to change the thing before it crashes though so it may take a few tries.

that was happening to me on July 12-14th. it SUCKED. all of my friends on facebook who also had iphones and ipod touches where havnig the same problem at the same time. it eventually just went away and started working normally again......verry odd that it wasn't after an update or anything, just kinda stopped working, and started working again a few days later. even after uninstalling and re installing didn't help

once i have changed it to anything else and change it back to livefeed, do u knw if that would bring it back to the same problem??
