facebook crashing

facebook was crashing on my 3gs with 3.1.3 since 2 weeks...over the weekend i updated to 4.0.1 and the same problem exists on the new OS as well..
can anyone tell me how to fix this?
i have had enough of reporting this problem to the developer as well..seems like they are not doing anything about it..or even if they are i dont see any developments in that front..

yup done dat but still doesnt solve the problem..even went to d extent of restorin my phone and installed the app..doesnt seem to have helped..
