iPod touch Facebook fails to log in???

I just got the Touch 2G ,and after playing with it for a while, I decided to pick up Facebook from the App store. It starts ok, but when I enter in my email and pw, it says it failed to log in. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but still the same problem. I can log into Facebook just fine using Safari, but any clues as to why the App isn't working?

initiail comment for me is are you sure your typing the right login details?

also check nothing is being typed in captials as it may be case sensative.

yup,my login info is all correct...the times when it was not correct, it told me as such. No upper cases as well.

Facebook is sometimes down for maintenance. I couldn't login a minute ago either.

Its a FB problem. I tried going on on my desktop and i could login, but i couldn't message anybody or anything. It might be fixed soon

Well, it's still not working for me, and it has been about 24 hours since I first downloaded it.

I downloaded it around 2pm EST...its now 11pmEST and still not working...fail to connect???????

Facebook app is not letting me logon either from my iPod touch. I've been trying since yesterday. Facebook works fine from my iMac. This is pretty disappointing so far.

Ditto here. I can log in to the facebook.com page in mobile Safari and on a PC/Mac, just not with the FB app. If I enter a bad PWD I get an error indicating that, but if I enter the right PWD I get a connection error in my ipod touch.
