I've noticed on the FaceBook marketplace, there are a lot of people selling phones for extremely cheap prices. I've checked, and they're unlocked too, so you're not signing up for any sort of contract.
For example, there are people selling white iPhone 3Gs (16 Gigabytes) for just $160 plus shipping.
This seems almost impossible to me, but the thing is, it's not just one person.
There are tons of people selling at that price point.
Any ideas about what's going on there?
Thanks,
David

They're scammers. They post on an almost daily basis on MacRumors and we ban/delete them. Don't trust anyone who's selling way below market price, anyone who wants to sell in any way that doesn't involve either Paypal to a reputed seller (through eBay or Heat or some other system) or a personal exchange. And exercise extreme caution with anyone who is dealing -- who has more than one phone for sale.
