Facebook Messed up Contacts and all?

i dont know where to post this thread in iOS6 or iPhone just confused,
well moderator will move wherever he thinks the right place for it,
my problem is, in my iphone 5 with latest ios6 non jailbroken, i used facebook in settings and updated all my contacts, calanders. Today i found that this thing has mixed my contacts in other names, for example i have a contact
Vijay A (this is the contact in my phone with only his mobile number)
Vijay B (this is the facebook friend)
whne i update the facebook in my iphone it replaced the number now if i call Vijay A it calls Vijay B, there are several numbers in my address book which has been mixed up, please give me the solution,
right now i have removed facebook from my iphone and removed the contacts of facebook too, but still numbers are mixed. i can restore from icloud as i backup daily to icloud.
i have losted my mind, please do help

you are not the only one, it looks like the new update removed the option to not add your facebook contacts and I have not been able to find out how to fix it yet. I was looking on here to see if anyone else was having the same problems too and hope that someone knows how to get rid of them!!

Settings -> Facebook -> turn the contacts off

Or you can manually separate the Facebook contacts from the one you originally have. If you have multiple messed up ones, you have to do it one by one.

Click on that person's name in contacts -> click on edit -> scorll down to the bottom where you should see 'linked contacts' -> delete the one you don't want (ie. the Facebook one)

It wouldn't actually delete the Facebook contacts, they will be shown as separate to your existing contacts on the phone.

Try this--Sign into facebook and then turn on contacts,click the update button below it, then again turn them off and click update button,it will remove all your facebook contacts.

I have tried to turn the contacts button on and off on my Iphone and it does nothing. I don't see and thing when I get onto facebook on my computer about my contacts. So the only way that I can see to remove them would be to erase one at a time. Which sounds like a headache to me and whats to say that they will not come back after.

Um after turning off contacts, did you click update all contacts again ? This worked fine for me.
