Facebook Messenger: No Locations?

Hi,

I run IOS 8 GM. I can not send location information in chat. This white arrow keeps being white. No chance to make it blue. I tried to reinstall the messenger but that didn't change anything. Ah, and for sure I allowed access to location information for the messenger in privacy & co.

Am I the only one or is this a real bug?

Did you enable location reporting in an open chat (right side edge of the text entering box)?
If you did then maybe disable location reporting under Privacy settings, then try to enable it again in chat and see if you get the popup to enable it under Privacy settings. After that re-enable under Privacy and in chat.

Thank you, gave it a try.

I get the popup. But re-enabling under Privacy (works) makes no change. This arrow (to enably location in chat) doesn't switch to active (blue). It keeps being white.

messenger has no support to ios 8..it must be updated by facebook team we'll wait a little bit.
