Facebook Notifications are nothing but a tease

Every, Single facebook Notification I recieve from MacOSX notifications leads to an error message.

Every Single. One. Without Exception. For Months, and perhaps even years on end.

Why is this happening?
 
Must be on Facebook's end. They push the link. You could always try logging out and logging back in on your Mac to see if that fixes anything.
