Hi,

I have a Problem with my apple watch.
Notifications of all my apps are showing with vibration and sound on my watch.
Only the facebook notifications like "someone tagged you" or "xxx invited you to play xxx" (all facebook notifications) come on the watch without vibration and sound.
I only see them because of the red dot.

Anybody an idea?

Does your phone have vibration or audio alerts for the Facebook notifications? I think the watch mirrors those settings.

I do not use vibration on the iphone.
But the watch vibrates on all other notifications.
Sound alert is activated for facebook.
But maybe facebook does not use sound for notifications?

Ok i solved it.
Apple watch only vibrates/sounds by notifications which would create a sound on iphone.
Sounds on for facebook app in the iphone notification settings is not enough.
You must activate this in the facebook app too:
-Go to the facebook app on phone
-Go to Account Settings
-Go to Notifications
-Go to Mobile Push
-Look at the top of the screen and it said "Sound for push notifications"
-Edit it to ON for all notifications

Nicely documented! This entire time I thought I was just missing the notifications, as I kept checking the iPhone's Facebook notifications settings.

Now if only Facebook would support iOS 8's interactive notifications so that we could do more than just "dismiss" notifications. Read comments, Like and handoff would be really nice. Replying, even better.

Yes i thought too that I didnt notice the notification on the watch because they were shown in the watch notification center. Because of that I activated the highest haptik feedback. Now i can lower it because that wasnt the problem.
