Facebook on iPhone question

I do not own an iPhone and instead have been stuck on the BB Storm 1 since its launch. However, I will be switching and dropping VZW to get the new iPhone when it launches. My question is, what is Facebook integration like on the iPhone? With my BlackBerry, I can link my contacts to their Facebook profiles so it will load there current profile pic as the pic for their contact in my address book. Also if I wanted to, depending on the persons privacy settings etc all I need to do is put their name in my address book and it will automatically download their phone # and relevant info. Does Facebook work like this on the iPhone or no?
