On PC there is a little icon at the top right of the pictures with two arrows pointing away from each other so you can see it full screen. Don't see it on mac Facebook?

Facebook on Mac, how do I view pictures full screen?

You could pinch to zoom or Press "F" while viewing a picture to FB full screen...not really the same thing, but yeah know
