Hello. I know that if I don't have safari in full-screen mode but as a small window the chat has the old behavior without side-bar. Can I have the same behavior of chat in full-screen mode?

The chat bar stays there because there is enough pixels to display it. Resizing Safari will show it.

I prefer the chat bar staying open, so you can see who is online. But there is no way to do what you're after when there is enough pixels for the Facebook website to display itself fully.

I know that. But I am sure by searching well the code of Facebook there will be a way to do this.

Because surely to know how many pixels are on display for facebook windows a script runs or something with css.

With css user content you can change css styles and you can stop displaying a scripts result.
