Do the sounds actually work for Facebook notifications? Should I reload the app to get them to work? Or is it just a simple Facebook problem that everyone has?
 
Facebook app always has problems of some sort. I guess it's just a hard site to have an app mimic but the thing can be pretty annoying overall.

You couldn't be more right about the facebook app having problems. I love using it, but quite often pictures won't load or notifications that I've received won't point to anything. Unfortunately it's just a problem with the application overall.

yup the app sucked on blackberry too,
 
What I dislike even more is that I can't assign a different text tone to each app that has a notification! I loved this feature on my blackberry.....but it wasn't enough to keep me with RIM. Can't wait for BBM for iOS though!

I wouldn't get too excited about it. It's not going to be the full featured BBM.
 
As long as I can BBM it's fine with me. Most all my friends and family have blackberrys. Only a handful of us have iPhones

Lol...so if they don't have me on their Facebook page I guess there not my "good friends" either...lol....it's not that serious as to question there friendship because they won't install an app on their blackberry. Dude stay off the Internet.

sounds like your changing the subject, from what i read you want BBM to be cross platform, ive given your a similar application that already is

facebook sucks and has nothing to do with it

the point of BBM or whatsapp is for people who dont have unlimted text or for texting internationally

and yes if these "friends" dont want to install a app that allows your to accomplishes this then they have no desitre to get messages from you

So your one of those people that gets upset when your myspace friend takes you off their top friends list...lol........I agree with you that the fb app is Flawed.
