Now and again, someone in my family finds a funny video on Facebook. They want to share it, and I normally recommend that they use AirPlay on the ATV3.
It almost never works properly. I'll get a generic error ("An error occurred while loading the content") or just a black screen with the outline of the Facebook video player, but no video.
It doesn't matter if I mirror or not. The only real solution is to look for the video on YouTube, and try again, where it will work flawlessly, and without mirroring.
