Lately when browsing the web, Facebook has implemented an annoying disruptive new feature I can't find the settings to turn off anywhere, hence my calling it a "secret" feature. If it thinks the browser/tab is inactive for a while, it redirects you to your home feed, and can even erase any posts or comments you had been writing! But it nicely asks "Continue? Go back?" on the lower left.
But I just want to turn this feature off, and I know it's NOT a bug because of that dialog box on the bottom left. I've been looking all through the Help Center and my settings feature and have found NOTHING relating to it.
Anyone else having this problem or know a solution?

I kinda like it, a good reminder I should stop doomscrolling and get back to real life🤣
Well, not me. It just makes it more frustrating to use! I decided I may as well NOT click "Continue viewing your profile? Go back." if it's going to keep redirecting me without being able to turn off that feature!
