Basically, notifications show more detail if it is the registered FaceID user. If it is not, then you get redacted details.

I was not a proponent of FaceID, and probably still prefer TouchID at least as an option, but this is really cool.

If would be extremely cool if you could apply this throughout the OS. Like when you lend your friend to see one photo, but you don't want them to see others, if iOS could automatically hide or censor your other photos.

Same with emails, calendar appointments, etc.

Or if they could implement a "lock on current screen" feature, where if you hand your phone to someone else, they can only view the current screen. I find it pretty common these days to have to hand my phone over to cashiers or store workers to scan something, and don't want them being able to look at other stuff.
 
There are many,like imessages/messages are not working through 3dtouch from notification,if isnt you,like they are working now. Anyone can 3d touch and reply from notification to any messages,but with faceid they no longer can
You can keep reading and the display stays on as long as you keep looking etc
No sounds from new income notification if you are looking to your phone etc
