Just for funsies, I went out to iCloud and clicked the "All Devices" tab under "Find My Phone." Almost all of my Apple devices appears (geez, I got a lot of Apple stuff) with little pictures of each. Except the iPad Pro, which just shows up as a "graphic not found" icon: a little blue square with a white question mark.
Should I fly off into high dudgeon over Apple's disrespect for its newest device?
One more thing: I name my computer devices - it's more meaningful to me than "Bill Sheehan's iPad (2)." I renamed my old iPad after the wax tablets of ancient Rome: Cerae. Now, the letter C followed by a vowel is hard in Latin, but when anglicized, we soften it. "Caesar" is "Seezar," not "Keezar." Which means Cerae is pronounced "Siri." Hmmmmm....
(It's just a coincidence. The actual etymology of the name of Apple's voice interface is from a Norwegian woman's name that means "Beautiful Victory". It was retained when Apple acquired the company only because His Steveness couldn't think of anything better.)
