you're using your own 3G date regardless of what the other person uses. if someone calls you from a landline, you're still using your minutes right?

Ok, prob right about the 3G... But i think your wrong about the minutes. It doesnt use up your free mins if someone calls you...thats just silly

Sorry, I didn't see where you were from. But in the US, on a typical plan, you use your minutes even if you are receiving a call.
Wow that really sucks. Does it matter if it's a landline or mobile phone or does the receiver use minutes for both?

It doesnt matter if its cell or landline.
Both receiver and caller get the same minutes deducted from their plan.
Its nonsense IMO.
Nonsense sounds right. Do you at least have offers like free AT&T to AT&T or sprint to spring etc?
Yes, at least that makes up for it.
Free AT&T to AT&T customers.
There's also some plans that have unlimited calling to any cellphone on any network etc...
But for the amount of money we pay here in the US for monthly plans with texts and data its still expensive.
A single line with around 500 minutes, unlimited texts and 2GB of data is over $100 per month with taxes.
I'm currently with 3 and paying 20 euro a month ($26) and I get free 3 to 3 calls anytime.
Free calls to any network on weekends.
Free texts to any network anytime.
Unlimited data including tethering.
Ugh no offense I hate everytime someone posts about Three.....Cause I WANT TO HAVE THEM IN THE US SO BAD![]()

I've actually noticed the 3G is slower than Vodafone.. I used to get constantly 2-4mb on Vodafone and now on 3 it's almost always below 2mb. If I'm not mistaken that's like third the speeds you guys get on 3G?
