Sweet let me know how it works out!

Seriously though, was asking for opinions rather then sarcastic replies. :p

what i am hoping for is. Stay with my unlimited data, get a JB, tethering through JB, and unrestrict 3G for facetime

You'd be livin' the dream huh.

haha yeah. Well i get to keep my unlimited plan..... and if they jailbreak the new phone (hoping they will.... i love sbsettings). im hoping they can allow tethering without att knowing. I already pay $30 i dont think i should pay more for the ohhh idk one time a year ill want to tether. (and i would also have to keep the downgraded datapro or plus)

since FaceTime isnt a stand alone app(its through the "Phone" app), I guess we would just add "phone" to the unrestricted list??

Im sure there will be something tho

I don't think it's a bad question. You'd think there would be someone out there that would know whether or not it's possible even with the phone not being out yet.

hah

Cut the guy some slack - like none of us have asked a stupid question before :)

All the same, It's going to be interesting seeing ATT's network go up in flames once FaceTime is unrestricted over AT&T.

Cheers

Yea, I wonder how many of the 600,000 first day pre-order phones will be used on AT&T in the US ?

Could be quite a load, plus add tethering for non-jailbroken phones.

I wonder if widespread outages have just become part of AT&T's "What to expect" or if they are doing much about it.

I don't live in the States, but when I did I was not a super happy AT&T customer and it seemed that they really weren't as invested in the Apple/AT&T joint venture as they should have been.

Nonetheless, It's certainly hard on them to have such a beast of a phone on their networks. They are being handed technology that is now 1-2 years ahead of everything else and being asked to make it just work - must be hard!

Good luck to all you guys come iPhone 4 delivery day!
