I am trying to run Facetime on a MacPro 3,1. I have this Mac using a wired internet connection.
Facetime will not activate (signing-in using my Apple ID) unless I turn on WiFi (and first disabling the wired ethernet & rebooting the Mac).
Once I have done this I can run Facetime and have it activate. However, next time I run the computer on wired ethernet (which is 99.999999% of the time) I will not be able to use Facetime.
My DNS settings are Google's 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 as suggested in other threads.
I would really like to use Facetime when the wired ethernet is active.
Anyone have a solution?
