I have a MacBook (mid 2010) and an iPod (4th Gen), and want to set up FaceTime to work between them. Every time I try to FaceTime with my wife, me on the iPod and she on the MacBook, it says, "Not available". When she tries to FaceTime with me, it just loses the connection. It turns out that I think that we have the same email addresses set up for both. Could someone please confirm that that is the source of the problem?
If so, is it a simple matter of deselecting any and all email addresses, and then selecting one for each device, ensuring that they are both answering different email addresses? The thing is that I thought we tried that, but we still had problems.
Many thanks in advance for any advice.
